Got a question?
We’ve got you covered.

Here we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions about dip plastic. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, you’re always welcome to contact us.

Is Stripcoat toxic?

Stripcoat is non-toxic and safe to use. It is melted and applied at controlled temperatures and contains no solvent

Stripcoat is heated in special equipment with thermostat-controlled electric heating. The product should never be heated directly over an open flame or with gas-powered equipment.

Once Stripcoat has reached the right temperature, simply dip the item into the molten mass for a few seconds and then lift it out. It solidifies in about one minute and is then ready for transport or storage.

The coating is easy to remove. It does not adhere to the surface but only encloses the part. You can make a cut and then peel it off, much like peeling an orange.

The choice of Stripcoat depends on the type of item to be protected and the kind of protection needed – for example, against corrosion, scratches, or other physical impact.

Our history

At the end of the 1920s, Ragnar Persson came to Stockholm to do an office internship. The idea was that he would return to Nyköping to work with his father, who ran one of the workshops in Nyköping that supplied furniture to Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm.
